I am a photographer based in Norwich, UK. I have traveled widely and this website includes some of my pictures from around the world, including Mexico, Central and South America, and Morocco and, closer to home, one of my favourite twilight haunts, Happisburgh on the ever-changing north Norfolk coast. Always using natural light, both portraiture and landscape photography interest me deeply. My recent interests include the medieval sculpture of Norfolk’s medieval churches which has led to the publication of the book From Bears to Bishops (see below).
My past exhibitions include Guatemala: an endangered culture for which I was awarded an Eastern Arts bursary; The Maya; and Por La Vida, an exhibition of photos of a human rights delegation’s visit to Colombia. More recently I exhibited at Hungate Medieval Art in Time Frames: Focus in on Norfolk’s Medieval Churches – an on-going project of photographing medieval details – bench ends, stone carving and stained glass. The exhibition was well reviewed locally:
My old punk photos were also displayed recently in the Punk in the East events at The Museum of Norwich and Frank’s bar. I also contributed to the 2018 selected group exhibition, Inheritance at the Castle Museum & Art Gallery in Norwich
